Jacquette captured this view of early stages in the construction of the new Renzo Piano building from a nearby elevated perch in the Standard Hotel. She includes the colorful construction shrouds and traffic streaming by as lights come on across the bay and dusk descends on the scene.
Whitney Construction at Dusk has been printed in twelve colors from eleven aluminum plates hand-drawn and painted by the artist in an edition of 30, plus proofs, on White Rives BFK paper, 34¼ x 31½ inches.
