“Solitary Oak”

Susan Hall lived and worked for many years in New York City before returning to her childhood home in Point Reyes Station, California. In her work Hall depicts moments suspended in the mysterious light of this place of marshland, wave-broken coastline and tawny, rolling hills.

In Solitary Oak she invites us into the golden landscapes of Point Reyes that inform and inspire her enigmatic paintings and prints.

Solitary Oak was printed in twelve colors from ten aluminum plates on 18 x 24 inch white Rives BFK paper in an edition of 25, plus proofs.
