Burckhardt’s Debris monoprints are meant to conjure a Western landscape, with Big Sky expanses coupled with flood washed rubble. The prints are not intended to be environmental statements, just the yin and yang of temporal setting and human effluvia.
The twenty-three monoprints in the Debris series were printed from lithographic and plexiglas plates on white Rives BFK paper, 15 x 20¾ inches.
